I have been active with sports and fitness since the beginning. I played soccer through college and have been a fitness instructor for nearly 9 years (and counting!). Yoga was a discovery, really the missing link in my active life. Once I started, I was hooked. I knew I had to learn as much as I could about yoga, including teaching.

I love combining my passion for fitness with helping and encouraging people of all ages and levels. Education in my field is extremely important. I am a certified in Personal Training, Cycling and Yoga, working toward RYT-200 certification.

Kristi and I share a love of fitness and we ventured on this path with open minds and hearts. Before we knew it, we had our first certification complete. Our all encompassing love of yoga and passion to make it accessible to everyone, is how MKelevate came to be.

I love yoga and have been practicing since 2003, under many different teachers and styles. I have been an athlete all my life, I ran track in college and love playing all sports. Yoga has helped me to enhance my strength and focus, and has opened my life to meditation and the joy of sharing it with others.

My journey to become a yoga teacher was not a direct line. Mandy wanted to start teaching yoga and it was always on my bucket list of things to do. I was working full time as an electrical engineer at the time and had it in the back if my head as something I would do when I retired. Fast forward a few years, and I have recently hung up my engineering career to focus on my family and yoga.
